European Union foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton,
holds a news conference in Cairo as it is announced she has met the
ousted Egyptian president, Mohammed Morsi.
Mr Morsi has been detained since he was overthrown by the military on 3 July after days of mass protests. (BBC)
